Along the way – a quest between space and posture
In my artistic practice, each canvas is a path, a singular journey where architecture and figurative art converge. Along the way, I seek to capture suspended moments where human posture unfolds—like a silent poetry between the individual and the space surrounding them.
Posture is not merely a physical stance; it is an inner motion, a quiet expression of the soul in dialogue with its environment. It is this poetry, this subtle dance between human presence and architectural form, that I strive to portray in my work.
Architecture, to me, is not simply structure—it is a trace, a living imprint that enters into conversation with the human body in all its diversity. Each line, each volume, each shape carved into space becomes a silent partner to human posture, accompanying it in its search for meaning and presence.
Through my paintings, I explore this fusion between body and space, where posture becomes the echo of a lived moment, a thought, or a breath held still.
This artistic journey is not merely a formal exploration—it is a true path toward the intimate. Art, like architecture, is part of that voyage, capturing the fleeting instant when the human merges with their environment.
Through my figurative work, I invite you to walk this path, to explore the poetry of human postures and their relationship with the spaces they inhabit—whether interior or exterior, real or imagined.
I hope these paintings resonate with you in your own way—that they echo something personal within you.

To paint silence in a gesture, the memory of a place.
Between two steps, a pause.
Between two walls, a story.
Our canvases speak of suspended moments—on the edge of movement, intimacy, and space.
LE CARTON A DESSINS

CAMILLE ROUSCHMEYER GALLERY
Painting in Two Voices
By my side, Camille Rouschmeyer explores a luminous and sensitive impressionist style.
Her gaze captures suspended moments, where color and light become memory.
A selection of her works can be discovered here, echoing my own artistic path.
A separate gallery—meant to be seen with both the eyes and the heart.
DISCOVER MY LATEST WORKS
Three Variations on the Feminine
“The Girl at Daybreak,” “The Girl in Blue Sheets,” and “The Naked Girl in Her Bed” form an intimate triptych—
a sensitive exploration of the body, of light, and of suspended time.
Each canvas captures a unique atmosphere: awakening, retreat, surrender.
These feminine figures, both present and elusive, embody the thread I follow in my painting:
somewhere between softness and tension, between silence and story.
ALYNE AUROMISCHER GALLERY
The Circus as a Theatre of the Soul
Alyne Auromischer invites us into a world suspended between poetry and tension,
where clowns, tightrope walkers, and tamers become silent actors of our deepest emotions.
Her intensely figurative painting draws from the circus imaginary a deeply personal language:
between flashes of gold, crimson velvet, and charcoal shadows,
her characters emerge—fragile and radiant.
ON THE WAY, THE SHOES
(Chemin faisant, les grolles)
In this series of square 40 x 40 cm canvases, worn-out shoes catch the light.
Scuffed, scratched, shaped by the journey, these “grolles” tell of paths taken, pauses made, and unexpected turns.
Each shoe becomes a fragment of memory, a silent witness to the landscapes crossed—between pavement, gravel, and forest floor.
A painted homage to what carries us forward, step by step.
WORKS ON PAPER
Watercolors and Ink Drawings - Here, the line breaks free.
On paper, ink spreads, water sketches uncertain contours, and forms emerge in the spontaneity of the gesture.
Whether it's architectural sketches, fleeting silhouettes, or travel impressions, my watercolors and pen drawings capture the moment.
A more intimate, more immediate body of work—where paper becomes the ground for a sensitive handwriting,
somewhere between observation and emotion.

RADIO FLYER
Acrylic on canvas
2021
100 x 70 cm
There are silences that come before sound — moments held in suspension, just before a single note shifts the air. “Radio Flyer” captures that precise instant: the before. Before the concert, before the voices, before the piano awakens.
On stage, a majestic Steinway & Sons piano stands in quiet command. Beside it, two empty stools, a suspended microphone, and soft lighting that carves out shapes from the surrounding shadows. But the true focal point lies elsewhere: a small, bright red Radio Flyer wagon — the kind once pulled through childhood streets in America — now repurposed.
Instead of toys or sand, it carries boxes of jazz scores, carefully labeled and neatly arranged. The wagon seems drawn from memory — a playful bridge between the world of childhood and the solemnity of performance. You can almost hear the soft creak of its wheels crossing the wooden floorboards.
As in many of my paintings, objects speak. They carry traces of gesture, of anticipation, of quiet rituals. Here, the concert has yet to begin, but everything is in place: the instruments, the seats, the papers… and that red wagon, offering a whimsical counterpoint to the seriousness of a jazz stage.
This painting asks a simple yet universal question: what do we carry with us through life, onto which stage do we arrive, and with what tools? Radio Flyer answers not in words, but in image — and in stillness.
