DÉCROCHAGES (Detachments)– 100 x 100 cm
An old bathroom caught in the act of vanishing.
Tiles are cracked, pipes exposed, walls wounded.
The orange stripes create a striking visual tension, and a blue surgical mask — left behind — whispers of a time now passed.
This is a portrait of a place in transformation, somewhere between function and forgetfulness.

Artistic approach
In this piece, I wanted to explore the threshold between utility and abandonment.
A bathroom, once intimate and clean, now becomes a raw site of deconstruction — a poetic ruin.
This "décrochage" is both literal and metaphorical: a letting go, a dismantling, a process of erasure that leaves a visual echo.
Through detail and composition, I sought to preserve a memory — not of comfort, but of passage.
